Some changes will be made starting next year surrounding professional development days for teachers in New Brunswick.
Anglophone South School District Superintendent Zoe Watson says the current full day model will be changed to five half-days to give teachers more opportunities to meet on a regular basis.
The Francophone Districts in the province have used this model for a few years now and Watson says it has been working very well.
Watson says the Anglophone South School District will hold its professional development days on Wednesday afternoons.
She says having the shorter half-day sessions spread out through the year is something they've been looking at trying over the past couple of years.
A lot of the professional development days will be placed in the first half of the school year.
