Musquash residents who were evacuated on Saturday night have now returned home.
Among the 150 people forced to leave their homes in the Thompson Subdivision was Natasha Gamblin, along with her partner and their very young son.
Gamblin says they found out around 9 o’clock when the RCMP knocked on the door and told them to get out because of the concerns over the integrity of East Branch Dam.
She says the evacuation went smooth, however at first there was a lack of information for them which they didn’t get until her partner went back into the danger area to lock up and secure the house.
Gamblin says this incident doesn’t make her feel unsafe in her neighbourhood, she says she is very confident the people who operate the dam will ensure it is properly monitored.
They were given the all clear to return to their home after 8 o’clock on Sunday.
