The Saint John Sea Dogs selected Forward Oliver Mathieu with their 11th overall pick.

The Sea Dogs also traded forward Adam Marsh to the Val-d’Or Foreurs.
The Foreurs also recieved a fifth-round pick . In return, Saint John received fourth-round pick for this year and a 2018 second-round selection.
