Police say two teens are cooling their heels in jail after being arrested for breaking into a home on Sandy Point Road after the alarm was activated. The owners were not home at the time.
The two, aged 14 and 15, were arrested after two sets of fresh footprints were seen in the snow leading away from the house. A police officer followed these foot prints through the woods behind the house until they came out on Tucker Park Road.
Two young people were seen walking together along Tucker Park Road. Their footwear was checked and the tread pattern was a match for the two sets of prints police had been following.
