Emergency preparedness organizations are reminding you to make sure you are prepared for the onslaught of a tropical storm – hurricane – or other disasters. Red Cross spokesman Bill Lawlor tells CHSJ News we should have a kit comprising of water – non-perishable food – medications – batteries – radios – and so on to help get through the first 72-hours in the aftermath of the disaster.More information on preparing an emergency kit can be found at http://www.redcross.ca/article.asp?id=17537&tid=025
