A garden project at the Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission generated a truck load of food for Romero House.
General Manager Mark MacLeod says they used their own compost to grow the vegetables and the staff at Romero House were thrilled with the donation.
MacLeod says a summer student and some other staff members maintained the 70-feet by 60-feet garden all summer.
