For some, this winter has been a god send while for others, they are missing out on activities due to the lack of snow. The Saint John Airport is reporting only six cm’s of snow on the ground. Environment Canada Meteorologist Claude Cote tells CHSJ News, the most snow on the ground is in the south-eastern and northern-western parts of the Province.
Cote adds we are far from setting any records how-ever. It was back in 1970, there was no snow on the ground in Greater Saint John mid-February but at the same time in 1993, we had 118cm’s and that is still the record.
