Tenders close Wednesday afternoon for work on the second phase of the upgrade to Rockwood Park’s main entrance.
The work will include a realignment of Mount Pleasant Avenue in the area of the entrance to the park as well as two new parking areas.
The project is expected to cost just over 3-million dollars with the Saint John Horticultural Association kicking in 1.2-million to help with the costs — the city has included its share in this year’s capital budget approved Monday night.
