The Alward government is rolling out a new program that will help doctors and others work together online to improve care for diabetics.
Health Minister Ted Flemming says the new Diabetes NB CoPosis will improve the management of the disease by enhancing the information and level of collaboration available for doctors around the globe.
Doctors can enrol through the Department of Health’s website with the online learning modules starting in January covering a range of topics including
effective management of renal disease and complications in diabetes.
Doctors can post comments, articles in a secure virtual community.
The online platform, CoPosis, was developed by the University of Alberta Centre for Health Evidence.
