A grief counsellor is working with staff at the Crabbe Mountain Ski Hill after yesterdays collision between two skiers that killed a 62-year-old ski instructor.
The name of the man hasn’t been released, but Work Safe NB believes he was skiing down a mountain trail before colliding with a teenage girl, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Jason Crawford, GM of the ski hill, says both skiers were wearing helmets, and conditions were excellent at the time of the accident. He says members of the ski patrol, a paramedic and a doctor were on the scene within minutes.
