NB Liquor and every other provincial government asset is being reviewed according to Finance Minister Blaine Higgs.
He says the mission is to determine whether it makes sense for the province to be in that business.
NB Liquor employees fear the liquor corporation is on the selling block and they fear for their jobs if it’s privatized.
Higgs maintains the Alward Government is not on a mission to sell NB Liquor but it will have to compete like any other retail business even though it is a government monopoly.
