Both St. Stephen Mayor John Quartermain and Civic Center Manager Natalie Reid have nothing to say after a town announcement that the debut event at the long-awaited Civic Centre in the town has been moved.
The NB Sports Hall Of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will stay in Charlotte County, but it will take place at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews.
It was supposed to be the 1st event in the almost-finished Garcelon Civic Center. In a statement, Quartermain said “This was a difficult decision to make.”
Ticketholders will be refunded if the venue change is an inconvenience to them.
