The defeated Liberal candidate in Rothesay who appealed his loss is not soured on politics even though he questions how diligent the party investigated.
John Wilcox appealed because of the number of students who voted at the nomination meeting at which their principal, Stephanie Tomilson won. He raised questions about whether the students may have been unduly influenced.
Wilcox, who ran against Ted Flemming in the byelection to replace Margaret Ann Blaney, has come to realise politics isn’t for the feint of heart.
