Britt Dysart of the Provincial Liberal Party says the defeated candidate at the Rothesay nomination meeting, John Wilcox, was given two opportunities by the appeals committee to make submissions.
He says the committee found the convention rules were not broken by either candidate.
He tells CHSJ News that both Stephanie Tomilson and John Wilcox had a chance to contact all members on the list and make their arguments.
Dysart adds there was no hard evidence brought forward and no witnesses brought forward that they could interview.
