A manhunt continues in Moncton for 24 year old Justin Bourque.
He is wanted in connection with the killing of 3 RCMP officers last night and injuring two others.
Early this morning, he was was spotted near the Gorge and Mountain Road.
He’s been spotted three times today, but the RCMP have been unable to apprehend him.
The Premier says all flags in the province will be flown at half mast in honour of the slain police officers and all provincial government offices and liquor stores in Moncton are closed today.
Saint John Deputy Police Chief Bruce Connell says an attack against members of the Codiac RCMP is an attack against all police in New Brunswick adding senseless and violent attacks of this sort are not part of our provincial culture.
He says their thoughts and prayers are with the famillies of the fallen officers, injured officers, the RCMP and the Moncton community.
