85 bales of tobacco, rolling papers and alcohol were seized at the Dorchester Penitentiary. The package was seized on the perimeter of the institution last week. The estimated institutional value of the tobacco and booze is about $17,700.
There’s been a complete smoking ban in all federal institutions since 2008.
