Just in time for Father’s Day is a new online tool that helps men make small changes to improve their health.
The tool is called ‘You Check’, which asks men to answer 18 questions about their lifestyle. It then submits recommendations on how the person can be healthier. The tool also assesses a man’s risk for seven illnesses including diabetes, heart disease, depression, erectile dysfunction, and prostate cancer. Program Manager for the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation, Joe Rachert, says the tool is the first of its kind online.
Work is underway to complete a similar tool for women. To answer the questions and see what is said about your health, click here.
