A woman originally from Moncton is an Emmy winner.
Michael-Anne Rowe’s documentary ‘Off the Beaten Palate’ aired on Detroit public television and was nominated for a regional Michigan Emmy which she won last weekend.
Rowe tells CHSJ News the series is about a woman’s journey to find out more about food and culture and that the best response to her documentary is people asking how they can get to New Brunswick and try this food.
An interest in food seems to run in the family, Rowe’s sister Elizabeth is the owner of Urban Deli and Italian by Night on King Street here in Saint John.
