The Mounties responding to some fallout from the Moncton shootings two weeks ago.
In a release, they refer to people coming forward in media interviews offering speculation, innuendo and rumours as to what took place and suggestions as to what should be done.
The RCMP sas they can’t lay out the details of the case because its ongoing and because it could jeopardize the court case.
They refute the suggestion that Codiac RCMP did not have access to hard body armour saying it’s been available since 2011.
The release states that they understand the need for answers and they are committed to providing the public with information when they are in a position to do so.
