Two more people have been charged in New Brunswick, including a Saint Johnner, after a national investigation into internet child pornography called Operation Snapshot 3 and a child has been rescued from an abusive situation.
35-year-old Mario Lucero of Saint John was charged with possession of child pornography and making it available, as was 28 year old Paul Leblanc of Bouctouche. A 33-year-old Moncton man, and a 35 year old from Saint Quentin, were also arrested.
The Moncton man has already pleaded guilty to 5 charges. The RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit reports a 10 yea -old child who’s a relative of the Moncton man, whose name can’t be released by court order, was rescued from what police are calling the abusive situation and more charges are possible.
The investigation involved 7 search warrants of homes throughout the province.
