The start of the Grand Manan summer ferry schedule which was to begin today has been delayed. That word coming from the General Manager at Coastal Transport, Gregg Ryder.
He says Coastal Transport engineers are collaborating with technicians from the U.S. on a mechanical repair that’s preventing the Grand Manan Adventure from operating but remains optimistic both vessels will up and running for the upcoming Canada Day weekend.
The regular summer schedule consists of 7 round trips daily operating between 7:30 in the morning and 9:00 at night.
