The Deputy Police Chief with the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force has run over 40,000 kilometres, or around the globe, since 1980.
Steve Palmer tells us he began running when he was around 13-years-old to have an advantage in the sports he was playing.
He says it’s big a big help in his police career, saying some of the most difficult days in policing can seem a bit better after a run.
Palmer is proud of the achievement saying he put a lot of effort into it and ran in some pretty terrible conditions.
