The clock is ticking for New Brunswick feature film Owl River Runners.
It’s one of seven movies chosen for the IndieCan 10K Film Challenge and the filmmakers have a little less than two weeks to raise the $10,000 they need through online crowdfunding in order to move the project forward.
The coming of age story is about a girl named Jaime who wants to break free from her small town and discovers her late grandfather was a major pot dealer. Producer Elaine Shannon says any help is appreciated, whether you donate some cash or you share it on social media.
The campaign closes on July 11.
