The Governor General challenging Canadians to become more giving citizens in his Canada Day address.
David Johnston says today we may be celebrating all that is exceptional about our country today but we can’t gloss over the fact that there are those are still needs help and goes on to say, we must be willing to ask what more can I do? Johnston urging all of us to find out what we have to give and how we can create a better future.
He says our country will be celebrating in 150th birthday in three years and now is the time to decide who we want to be on that day.
