Would you buy a house without first walking through and seeing what it looks like?
That’s the analogy provincial NDP leader Dominic Cardy is using for the provincial forestry plan, which he says was announced without first doing the science and making sure the claims about job creation are feasible. Cardy tells CHSJ News we’re now seeing delays in the release of the details of the plan.
The job creation announcement related to the forestry plan was made several months ago and has become controversial for its drastic reduction in the amount of protected Crown forests.
