The first hurricane of the season is heading our way.
Hurricane Arthur is expected to make landfall in the Halifax region by this weekend. Meteorologist Claiude Cote tells CHSJ New sit’s still a bit too early to predict exactly how bad the weather will be, but rain and windy conditions are expected over the weekend.
The storm is expected to ramp up to hurricane strength tonight as it moves slowly northeastward and a trough of low pressure will guide Arthur toward Atlantic Canada. For a neat radar map of the weather system over Saint John, click here
