The provincial Liberals are against everything and stand for nothing. That’s the response of Provincial Health Minister and Attorney-General Ted Flemming to Provincial Liberal leader Brian Gallant’s contention that New Brunswick voters are hankering for change.
Flemming admits the Alward Government had to make some tough decisions that some people don’t like in order to move the province forward but maintains Gallant won’t wear well when voters take a closer look at the options.
Flemming argues there is no substitute for experience and points out the Liberals are the same old crew that ran things under then Premier Shawn Graham.
Flemming also quotes the NDP candidate in Rothesay John Wilcox, a retired city police officer who ran against him for the Liberals in saying you don’t leave the police academy and become chief.
