The Saint John Fire Department reminding you of the dangers of storm surges and high waves saying that a rogue wave can sweep you off of shorelines and beaches and strong rip currents can carry you far from dry land.
City Fire says those who do this don’t just put themselves in harms way, but also the emergency crews called out to rescue them.
