He tells CHSJ News everyone is grateful there was no loss of life after Saturday’s horrendous storm.
He says we should all take a moment to make sure we have an emergency preparedness kit and extend thanks to the folks who keep us safe like emergency services, the outside workers and parks and recreation.
Norton tells us the City is focused on removing trees from city properties but, later this week they will be announcing help for property owners dealing with downed trees.
The trees is places like King and Queen Square and the Loyalist Burial Ground will be examined by an aborist on City staff who will offer recommendations.
