More than 66,000 New Brunswickers applied for a moose hunting licence and more than 4600 hunters will get a licence.
You can find out if you were successful by calling 1-800-459-3729.
You will need to have your valid Medicare card ready as you will be asked to enter the number.
Letters will be sent to all successful applicants.
To buy their moose licence, hunters must bring their valid Medicare card to a Service New Brunswick centre on or after August 18th.
The moose hunting season this fall is two days longer and will run September 23rd to 27th.
