Communities around the region are offering places to get water, charge your phone, get a break from the heat and get a shower.
The Hampton Rink will be open tonight until 9pm for those who need washroom facilities and to charge their phones or other devices.
The Rothesay Arena is also open until 9pm for people to recharge electronics and fill up containers with water.
Again tomorrow, those without power can shower at the qplex between 630 and 9am. Dressing room No. 5 will be available for men while women will have access to the two officials’ rooms.
The Quispamsis Civic Centre will also be open from 9am to 5pm tomorrow for people to charge their electronic devices and get water. Please bring your own water containers.
The Brundage Point River Centre and the Community Centrum in Grand Bay-Westfield remains open daily from 10am to 8pm.
Both locations are providing charging stations for portable electronic devices, non-drinking water for flushing of toilets and washing as well as washroom facilities. It is air conditioned for those needing a break from the heat.
The River Valley Arena is open daily for those needing shower facilities.
