The Saint John E-M-O almost went into extreme emergency mode on Saturday afternoon with the Emergency Operations Centre being activated.
When that happens, 10 to 12 senior officials sit around a table and decide what can be done to better the emergency response.
Fire Chief Kevin Clifford heads the local E-M-O and he tells CHSJ News the response was top notch without having to take the extra step because the collaboration on the ground between the individual services was already happening between the fire department, police, E-M-S and Saint John Energy.
