A 56-year-old Nackawic man is facing impaired driving charges after his vehicle crashed into the Nackawic Fire Hall early this morning.
Just after 7:30 am, RCMP got a call that the Nackawic Fire Hall had been struck by a vehicle and was on fire.
No one was hurt but a fire truck was destroyed and the fire hall suffered significant damage.
Members from the Nackawic Fire Department got some help from the Dumfries Fire Department and the Millville Fire Department in battling the blaze.
The Fire Marshall’s Office as well as EMO and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist are looking into the incident.
