Folks working on a junk car near Saint James and Queen Streets got a little surprise around 7:30pm when the vehicle they were working on caught fire.
Platoon Chief Brian Wilson says it started when they were trying to get the gas out of the gas tank. Fortunately, crews managed to get the blaze out within 45 minutes.
The fire started near a building but crews prevented it from spreading.
No one was hurt.
