Fred Cormier Junior made a brief appearance in provincial court Tuesday morning.
Cormier is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 23 year old Spencer Eldridge, which happened off of Lancaster Avenue on the West Side in early May.
A 22 year old, Anthony Beckingham, was charged with assault with a weapon against Frederick Cormier Senior in connection with the same incident. Cormier Junior’s case was adjourned until November 6th and 7th while cell phone evidence in the case is transcribed.
He’ll be remanded in custody in the meantime.
