If you’re a fan of local craft beer, you soon might not need to make the trip to your local microbrewery to get your fix.
NB Liquor has a pilot project in the works that would allow you to fill up a growler of local beer at your local liquor store. Chris Vair is the owner of Saint John’s Big Tide Brewery…..he tells CHSJ News he’s applied to take part in the pilot project which would involve stores in Fredericton, Quispamsis, and Dieppe….but the plan still has some issues as far as he can tell.
He says if he was going to fill growlers on the floor of his restaurant with a separate unit he knows he would make a mess so there are some things to be aware of and he expects they are.
The pilot project would be starting in the fall.
