Long wait times in the ER, access to nursing home beds and a lack of family doctors–these are three priorities for the fall vote from the New Brunswick Medical Society.
President-elect Dr. Camille Haddad of Miramichi tells CHSJ News they have provided numbers and figures on how government can accomplish this.
He says the investment can save the government money in the long run because its more costly for doctors to see patients in the ER.
The society’s current president Dr. Lynn Hansen says doctors have heard the message from their patients and they want our politicial leaders to fix three big problems in the health system.
The New Brunswick Medical Society is putting some money behind these ideas spending money on advertising and through their own social media sites.
