RCMP are advising drivers to slow down with heavy wet, snow creating extremely slippery road conditions this afternoon.
Mounties say a 50-year-old man has been killed in a collision between a car and a snow plow on Route 114 in Stoney Creek.
The man, from Riverside-Albert, was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle.
The crash happened shortly after 1pm when the vehicle crossed the centre line and struck the snow plow head-on.
Police say the weather and road conditions were factors in the crash.
The man’s name is not being released until family members have been notified.
Meantime, RCMP are urging drivers to slow down with numerous other accidents being reported between Riverview and Hillsborough and also in the Irishtown area.
