Three businesses that have been in the uptown core for 90 years or longer were honoured Keirstead Flowers, Hayward and Warwick and Bustin’s
Uptown Saint John’s new Executive Director Nancy Tissington says Saint John scores highly as a walkable city.
She says even with King Street being the shortest and steepest hill in Canada we are still noted in the 90th percentile for a walkable city.
Tissington says 70 per cent of their budget goes toward marketing and promotion including events like Chop Chop.
