The search for a new city manager continues with current city manager Pat Woods leaving his post at the end of June.
Mayor Mel Norton tells us they’re working closely with a recruitment firm and there are a number of well qualified applicants. He says some preliminary interviews are being scheduled.
Norton tells us the process may or may not be finished by the time the Woods retires, he says the focus is getting the right person, not so much the timing.
The job posting was put on the city’s website in the middle of February.
