Constables Eugene Belliveau and James McKay were honoured at a Commendation Ceremony held at the Kennebecasis Regional Police Department.
Both officers received the Governor General Certificate of Commendation.
This award is issued to those who have made a significant contribution by providing assistance to another person in a selfless manner.
This type of commendation is not automatic. Eligible candidates are deemed notable by the Canadian Decorations Advisory Committee and selected through a voting process.
