A bizarre incident around 10:00 this morning in Brunswick Square which saw workers leaving the mall coughing and some stores closing their doors after a chemical was sprayed at two locations in the pedway.
Justin Tompkins was in the mall at the time with his mom and heard three people arguing with one having what appeared to be pepper spray and the other two started yelling they weren’t scared of his pepper spray.
Tompkins says they took off running and tells us he saw one young guy whose eyes were burning.
Several people are complaining about their throats being irritated.
The mall is being ventilated.
Police were seen driving away from the mall with one person in their cruiser.
