It was understood when the Peel Plaza Law Courts opened, the courthouses in St. Stephen, Grand Manan and Sussex would close. So claims Provincial Justice Minister Stephen Horsman.
The Conservative M-L-A for Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins, Bruce Northrup still wants Horsman to follow up on an invite meet face to face with those people who will be affected.
Horsman says he has emailed the Mayors of Sussex, St. Stephen and Grand Manan offering to meet with them at any time.
Horsman says courthouse safety has become more of a priority in light of suspicious packages being sent.
One of those packages arrived at the Saint John law courts. City Police say the preliminary analysis is showing the contents to be harmless.
