The unemployment rate for the country as a whole stays at 6.8 per cent in spite of the net loss of 20 thousand jobs, most of them part time, which was worse than expected.
The unemployment rate in New Brunswick falling a bit to 9.9 per cent, not from new jobs being created but because of people dropping out of the labour force.
There was also a drop in the Saint John unemployment rate which went from 9.2 to 8.1 per cent with Enterprise Saint John reporting a gain of 600 jobs last month.
In Moncton, the jobless rate rose from 6.6 to 7.2 per cent.
