A man was rescued by the fire department after falling out of his boat in Douglas Lake near the airport.
Platoon Chief Brian Wilson says firefighters had to swim out to the man who was hanging on to the side of his boat and a rescue device was then put around him.
He was pulled ashore and checked out to see if he was alright and didn’t appear to be any the worst for wear except for suffering a bit of hypothermia.
Meantime, K-V firefighters responded to a propane leak at the Co-Op gas bar.
