The town of Rothesay isn’t willing to wait years for curbside recycling so it’s moving ahead with it within months.
Town Councillor Matt Alexander says it’s hoped curbside recycling will be in place by late summer or early fall.
He concedes it will be more expensive than using the blue bins but it’s what people in the town say they want to help make the environment better.
Town Council will find out the financial implications at next month’s meeting.
