The NFL has suspended Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady without pay for the first four games of the season, fined the New England Patriots $1 million and taken away two draft picks for deflating footballs used in the AFC title game against Indianapolis. This is the second time the Patriots have been docked a first round draft selection.

In the National League, Scott Van Slyke cost the Dodgers a run with a base running blunder but then made up for it with a 3 run walkoff homer in the bottom of the 9th for a 5-3 win over Miami and Kris Bryant hit a two run homer as the Chicago Cubs got by the New York Mets 4-3.
In the NBA playoffs, Steph Curry scored 33 points as Golden State wins over Memphis 101-84 to tie up the series at 2 games each and Atlanta downed Washington 106-101 to deadlock that series at 2 games a piece.
