The governing Liberals are going on the attack when it comes to the new policy requiring wealthier seniors to pay more for their nursing home care.
The Liberal M-L-A for Victoria La-Vall-ee, Chuck Chaisson says the Opposition Conservatives are needlessly scaring people with their fear mongering. He says they’re leaving seniors with the mistaken impression that their life savings will be taken from them to pay for their nursing home care.
Opposition leader Bruce Fitch is accusing the government of bringing in policies that are tearing the province apart.
A Town Hall Meeting will be held on wealthier seniors paying more for their nursing home care at the Simonds Lions Auditorium at Loch Lomand Villa May 23rd from 1 to 3 in the afternon.
