In NHL Playoff action:
The Eastern Conference finals start up today with the New York Rangers hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning. The puck drops at 2pm.
In MLB:
The Toronto Blue Jays try to redeem themselves when they visit the Houston Astros, Kansas City hosts the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox take on Seattle.
In the NBA:
The Houston Rockets and LA Clippers will game 7 tomorrow. The winner of the game will face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference finals starting on Wednesday.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will hear the appeal of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, in regards to his four-game suspension. The NFL Players Association’s appeal of Brady’s suspension was offically filed on Thursday. Brady’s supension was based on the findings from the Wells Report, which concluded it was “more probable then not’” that Brady was “at least generally aware of the innappropriate activities” regarding the deflation of balls used in the AFC Championship game.
