Hope springs eternal in Browns Flat as people will be staging a rally tomorrow afternoon to try to persuade the powers that be to keep their elementary school open.
The parents believe the District Education voted for the closure in haste without doing a proper examination.
Parent Phil Kennedy says the province is putting financial pressure on the school districts to save money by cutting their budgets.
The rally will make its way from the Greenwich Fire Hall to the school and it gets underway at 1:00.
The final decision on closure rests with Education Minister Serge Rouselle and will be made by the end of the schol year.
